We’ve already got 80% of the UK covered – and we’re working hard to provide mobile broadband coverage across the rest of country.
We offer two types of Mobile Broadband – one that connects to the internet at speeds up to 1.8Mbps, and one with superfast connection speeds up to 7.2Mbps, though top speeds can vary significantly.*

We’re busy improving our network so that everyone in the UK can access our superfast Mobile Broadband service. So far we’ve got all the major UK airports covered, along with a lot of London postcodes.
We’ve also extended our coverage to include 3 million people in Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Reading. And it won’t be long before even more areas of the UK will have superfast Mobile Broadband access too.

It’s official. Vodafone’s mobile broadband network is significantly faster and more reliable than other operators. That’s the verdict of an independent study by LCC, the largest independent wireless engineering company in the world(June 2008).
In the study, LCC analysts compared how long it takes to download files and open web pages using mobile broadband in the UK.
They found that Vodafone’s mobile broadband network was:
- up to 10 seconds faster downloading a 2MB file.
- up to four times faster opening a web page.
