Unless you tell us otherwise, you’ll be on the daily rate where you pay per MB which can cost no more than £1 per day. If you’d prefer to sign up for a data pack login to My Vodafone and sign up quickly and easily.

Your £1 pays for the first 0.5MB you use every day (that’s about 20 pages). But you’ll get so much more. Because we want you to get the most from your Mobile Internet experience we’ll throw in a further 14.5MB – and it won’t cost you a penny. That means you get a generous 15MB a day for just £1.

If you use less than 0.5MB you’ll only be charged for the pages you view. So five pages, for example, would cost you about 25p.

Then you won’t be charged a penny.

This is unlikely, but If you do, you’ll be charged £2 for every additional MB you use.

The main advantage is that you can dip in and out without having to worry about daily rates. You simply add this web browsing package to your monthly subscription, as you would for your PC’s broadband. The flat rate data pack allows you up to 120MB across the month. If you use all your 120MB in a month, you'll default to the standard £1 per day charge for the rest of the month.

When you subscribe to the data pack you get the first month FREE.

It depends on the type of pages you’re browsing. For example, a made-for-mobile page uses approximately 0.025MB, which means you can view around 600 pages a day for just £1. Standard web pages use about 0.1MB of your allowance.

• Calculate how many MBs you’ll use.

You can connect your laptop or PDA to the internet on the £1 per day plan or web browsing pack. You will, however, use more of your MB allowance using a laptop than a phone. If you go over your MB allowance, you will be charged at £2 per MB for every additional MB you use (Laptop users should consider our 3G Broadband Mobile Connect card).

The £1 per day charge and monthly web browsing pack cannot be used for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services such as Skype or Peer-to-Peer services (such as instant messenger services, text messaging clients or file sharing). These services will not count towards the £1 per day charge or monthly pack, and are charged separately at £2 per MB, with a 5p minimum charge for each data session.
