Here’s a checklist of the computer hardware and software you need to get a broadband connection with Vodafone At Home.
- A Pentium-class processor
- Windows® 98SE, ME, 2000, XP or Vista™
- A 10/100 Ethernet LAN port
- Internet Explorer 5.0 / Netscape 4.7 or higher
- Plus one of the following to use a wireless router:
- Intel® Centrino® internal wireless technology
- A USB 1.1 or 2.0 port for USB wireless adapter
- A type II cardbus slot for PCMCIA wireless adapters
- A free PCI slot for PCI wireless adapters
- Mac OS 9 or X
- A 10/100 Ethernet LAN port
- Plus either:
- Apple AirPort, or
- An Apple® Mac compatible wireless adapter
A number of internet service providers have recently reported compatibility issues with specific software and Microsoft’s new operating system, Vista™. Only a small number of Vodafone At Home customers will be affected by this, but we recommend that you read our Vista™ page to find out more.
