  • Use the internet whilst you’re on the move

How do I get it?

Or you can call us on 08700 73 32 22.

Further information

We’ve added the RNID Mobile Textphone software to the Nokia Communicator 9210i to turn it into a phone that you can use for live text conversations.

To make a call you dial 18001 followed by the number of the person you’re calling. If you’re calling another textphone user you type using the QWERTY keyboard and the conversation will appear on the screen in real time.

If you’re calling a standard phone you’ll be transferred to an RNID Typetalk operator who will read aloud your messages to the person you’re calling, then type their replies to you.

People can call you by text by dialling 18002 followed by your phone number. They’ll be transferred to a Typetalk operator who will transform their words into text for you.

For emergency services call 18000 free of charge and you will be connected to an operator.
