Npower Ashes Series Ticket Promotion

Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to the npower Ashes Series Ticket promotion run by Vodafone for Vodafone customers throughout the 2009 Test and One Day International Series against the West Indies:

1. To enter you must be at least 16 years old.

2. The Promotion is only open to Vodafone customers who are UK residents.

3. Entry is via SMS (Text) to the Vodafone short-code 61500. Standard SMS rates apply.

4. Vodafone accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, lost or not received for any reason.

5. There will be five winners, each receiving a pair of tickets to one day of an npower Ashes Test. Ten tickets will be given away in total. The tickets available to the winners are as follows: Sat 11 July 2009, Cardiff: One pair; Sun 19 July, Lord’s Cricket Ground: One pair; Sun 2 Aug, Edgbaston: One pair; Sun 9 August, Headingley: One pair; Sun 23 Aug, Oval: One pair.

6. The Promotion will run from 11am on Wed 6 May 2009 until 8pm on Tue 26 May 2009.

7. Winners will be drawn by 5pm on 29 May 2009.

8. Vodafone, or its designated agent (namely brandRapport Ltd) will contact the winners by telephone by 5pm on 29 May 2009. Should there be no reply, the winners will be contacted a second time by the same date. Should there be no answer at the second attempt, another winner will be drawn.

10. The winner must confirm that they are able to attend the prize within 24 hours of being notified. The winner must provide their guest’s name and mobile number within 48 hours of being notified.

11. Vodafone will make reasonable efforts to fulfil all elements of the Promotion stated but cannot be held responsible for failing to fulfil certain elements if beyond the control of the promoter, including but not limited to: Match cancellation, match abandoned due to bad weather or other reason.

12. Prize Information: One pair of stand seat tickets to the respective day of the npower Ashes Series. The prize does not include hospitality, hampers or any other form of entertainment or added value provided by the Promoter

13. Prizes do not include travel expenses & accommodation.

14. Winners will be provided with tickets for the match on the day of the match by a Vodafone representative at the designated Vodafone ticket distribution point, on proof of identification. Tickets will not be sent out in advance.

15. In the event that any winner is unable to participate in the prize for any reason they must notify Vodafone UK sponsorship, or its designated agency immediately. In this circumstance, Vodafone UK sponsorship reserves the right to offer the Prize to another entrant.

16. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

17. Vodafone will not take responsibility for loss of, or damage to, personal possessions, or injury, including death, other than due to negligence, while travelling to or from the promotion or during the event.

18. Winners accept that the Prize could be rescheduled, cancelled or suspended for any reason whatsoever beyond the control or the Promoter.

19. Winners and guests may be required to take part in publicity and must comply with all terms and conditions of entry to the venue.

20. Vodafone reserves the right to contact all entrants regarding various product and service promotions or other related communications. Should entrants wish not to be contacted, they should write to the Vodafone Sponsorship team at the address as per Point 21. Entrants will have the opportunity to opt-out of future correspondence in any subsequent communications.

21. A list of winners can be obtained by contacting Vodafone Sponsorship Team, BrandRapport Ltd; Albury House, The Street, Albury, Guildford, GU5 9AE after 29 May 2009.
