These terms and conditions apply to the delivery of the sending of SMS updates and the SMS notifications only. For the avoidance of doubt Vodafone is not providing, and is not responsible for, the content of the notifications or updates.

Price

If you send an update to Facebook an SMS will be deducted from your SMS bundle (if you have one). If you do not have an SMS bundle you will be charged at your standard SMS rate. There is currently no charge for receiving notifications. This is subject to change and Vodafone will provide you with 30 days notice of the introduction of a charge for this service. Sending updates to Facebook whilst abroad will be charged at your standard roaming rate.

Fair Usage

There is no charge for receiving notifications via SMS subject to a fair usage limit of 500 notifications per user per month. If you are abusing the service or consistently exceeding this limit, we may ask you to moderate your usage and in extreme cases, we may block your use of the Facebook Notifications service.

Advertising

By linking your Facebook account & your Vodafone mobile phone number, you agree to receive adverts related to Vodafone services in Facebook notifications. If you want to stop receiving adverts, you will need to switch off the Facebook notifications by texting the word “STOP” to 32665.
